To the editor:
The election for state representative does indeed matter to Darien. Democratic candidate for the 141st District Rob Werner is an attorney who has the know-how to draft legislation that will address concerns of direct interest to Darien, namely the Affordable Housing Statue 8-30g.
Despite holding the office for two terms, Rob’s opponent in this election has not been successful in amending the statute in a way that would allow Darien to meet the intent of the law while conforming to the needs and character of our unique community.
Rob will work with the majority to get things done. This Nov. 6 is a presidential election, but it is often the candidates for local and state office that can have the most impact on our lives. Please join me in voting for Rob Werner on Election Day.
