To the editor:
As the parents of three young children, it is important to us that the Darien Public Schools remain excellent. Because of this, we will be casting our votes for Sarah Schneider-Zuro on Election Day.
Sarah is highly qualified. Prior to moving to Darien, Sarah was a school administrator and she holds two masters degrees in arts and education.
Having known her for years, I know firsthand that she brings integrity, intensity and experience to the job. Her knowledge of the school system combined with an intense desire to make our schools the very best make her the very best choice to serve our town as a member of the Board of Education.
She has served two elementary schools as a budget representative to the Council of Darien School Parents, and when a position on the Board of Education opened, she was the obvious choice as an interim appointment. With three children of her own, she is passionate about our schools and keeping education at the forefront of priorities for our town.
An outstanding school district is the primary reason that most of us have chosen to raise our families in Darien. It is important to safeguard our schools by placing them in the hands of people we can trust. For years, Sarah has consistently shown us that she is the right person for the job. Let’s keep her on our Board of Education!
