To the editor:
One of the first things people say when asked why they moved to Darien is education. Darien is known for having one of the best school systems in Connecticut and one of the people we should thank for this is Betsy Hagerty-Ross.
She has generously given up her time first as a five year BOE member and then as the chair of the BOE for the 2011-2012 term. She is committed to providing all the children in Darien the best possible education they can receive!
In addition we need to elect Sarah Schneider-Zuro, who has two degrees in education and understands expenses and curriculum. Based on her experience as a public school teacher and administrator she knows firsthand what our schools need!
We owe it to our children to provide them with the best educational caretakers we can find and that would be Betsy Hagerty-Ross and Sarah Schneider-Zuro.
