Darien voters are again fortunate to have a variety of candidates for BOE this year and I hope they will support Christa McNamara. I have had the pleasure of working with Christa for years, both on the Royle PTO, where I am co-chair, and on the Council of Darien School Parents. She has been a consistent presence at BOE meetings in addition to attending all PTO, RTM, and Building Committee meetings. Her experience will allow her to hit the ground running. She is well prepared to serve ALL of the children in our district. She will bring content expertise, reliability and a level head to the job at hand. The Board faces a difficult year moving beyond the current crisis mode and refocusing on making our district as effective as possible. We can rely on Christa to build a bridge to a better future.
