Fairfield police arrested two men who had from behind the bar; one suspect told cops he needed the deposit money to pay his rent.

(They can't just keep that stuff in the evidence locker, can they?)


A father coming to his daughter's aid ended up with at a man who apparently knocked repeatedly on his daughter's door and then waited in his car in her driveway. While the two were arguing, there was some amount of arm waving, and allegedly the man cut his finger on the father's butcher knife. 


Fairfield police started Christmas early when a , hitting medians and causing landscape damage, and ramming into a police car. To top it off, an officer heading in for backup hit another officer’s parked car as he raced to the scene.

A Stamford teen told Greenwich Police she didn't have the money to buy gifts for her friends, so she in essence went shoplifting with a Christmas gift list. after she was found with clothing and makeup reportedly taken from three Greenwich Avenue stores.

Mr. Gurliacci---an error has been made on your part. It is not "$0.5" for a bottle return. It is "$0.05". Using your math, these people would have made off with $540.00 worth of returnable bottles when, in fact, they only had $54.00. How is anyone going to pay their rent with $54.00? You can hardly even fill your gas tank with that much, today.
