3 Men Charged with Multiple Home Invasions in Area

The trio was indicted by a federal grand jury in White Plains, NY, and are accused of home invasions in New Canaan, Greenwich and in New York state.

A trio of men from New York has been indicted on multiple federal charges stemming from home invasion robberies in Greenwich, New Canaan, and New Castle, NY.

The men originally were arrested Oct. 18 on Route 287 in Harrison, NY following a shootout with police. Held in custody since their arrest, the men—from Dutchess County, NY— were indicted on robbery, burglary and gun-related charges,  according to Greenwich Police.

Included in the federal indictment are charges stemming from the July 24 home invasion of a Round Hill Road home where a female resident was restrained while a pair of robbers took an unspecified amount of jewelry.

Greenwich Police Lt. Kraig Gray said the charges against the trio resulted from a multi-agency investigation on the local level and because the suspects crossed state lines, the FBI assumed control the case.

The suspects are Paul Dibiase—also known as Carmine Stanzione— his brother, Daniel Dibiase and Jason Foskey.

In a statement released by Greenwich Police, FBI Acting Assistant Director in Charge, Mary Galligan, said, "From New Canaan to North Castle, these alleged crooks held victims at gunpoint before tying them up in their own homes. Armed with firearms and body armor, these men conducted thorough surveillance before violating the sanctity of victims' homes and ransacking their valuables with extreme violence."

Galligan added, "Their reign of terror and violence is over."

If convicted, all three face a maximum sentence of life in jail.
