Why wouldnt the police be contacted by the alarm company? And if they were, how tough would it be to catch a vandal who entered the school and had time to spray paint?

The police are contacted by the alarm company and are distpatched, its happend numerous times, i'm not sure why they wouldn't have responded this time around. The old alarm would go off after 60 seconds, and DPD would be there in less then 5minutes, my only guess is that they exited through a side door and through the woods, if only 1 or 2 officers it would be very easy to get out a side door an unnoticed. But what an obnixious 'prank' atleast the pranks we did at DHS were usefull, like having a BBQ ontop of the auditorium.
