A 41-year-old Darien man was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol after a motor vehicle accident in which he improperly turned in front of a motor scooter downtown, Darien police said.

What a quick turnaround on this incident ( from arrest to posting). I for one am practically salivating for details on the 12/24 telephone pole takedown. Any eta on that?
