Darien Man Turns Self in for Threatening in Westport

The 34-year-old allegedly placed a menacing phone call to a Westport woman in July.

Robert Strada, 34, of Darien, turned himself to Westport Police Tuesday on a warrant for the charge of threatening.

According to the police report, Strada presented himself around 1:27 p.m. after being told there was a warrant out for his arrest.

The charge stems from an incident in July during which Strada allegedly made a threatening phone call to a Westport woman.

Strada's bail was set at $2,500. He is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Sept. 3.
