VEHICLE FIRE Around 4:16 a.m., the Noroton Heights Fire Department responded to a tractor trailer fire on southbound I-95 between exits 9 and 10. The source of the blaze was determined to be the vehicle's brakes.
GAS ALARM ACTIVATION A malfunctioning gas alarm brought the Darien Fire Department, the Noroton Fire Department, and the Noroton Heights Fire Department to 20 Grove Street around 10:37 a.m.

GAS ODOR: The Noroton Heights Fire Department responded to a report of a gas odor at 50 Camp Avenue around 11:17 p.m. The source was determined to be a malfunctioning oil burner.
