Gas Station Owner Reports $1.2K Worth of Vandalism

The owner said that someone cut four fuel pumps sometime between March 21 and March 22, according to police

 

The owner of Tokeneke Service Station reported that someone cut the fuel pump hoses to four gas pumps with a sharp object last week, according to Darien police.

The owner told the department that he observed the vandalism when he reported to work at 6 a.m. on Friday, police said.

The total replacement value of the pump hoses are approximately $1,200. The owner told police that the vandalism occurred between 8 p.m. on March 21 and 6 a.m. on the March 22.
