A 16-year-old Greenwich boy has been missing since Dec. 1, and police are asking for your help—have you seen him?

Greenwich Police report "The missing youth has returned unhurt," according to an email from police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray. Details were not provided.

Greenwich Police are asking for the public's help in their search for a 16-year-old Greenwich boy missing since Saturday, Dec. 1.

Jeremy O'Connell was reported missing after he apparently "snuck out of the house and left the area with some friends," according to a statement issued by police. "These friends have all been interviewed and have not seen nor spoken to Jeremy since he left his house."

Jeremy is described as being roughly 5-foot-10 inches tall, about 180 pounds and wears glasses. The only clothing description police have is that he was wearing a black fleece jacket, according to the statement.

According to police, Jeremy had spoken about visiting Washington, DC; Ohio; and California, and has the means to take a trip of this kind.
