ID Theft Pays for International Airline Flight
You can pay for all sorts of things when someone steals your credit card information.
Somebody in town just paid for a Jet Blue Airways flight from Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York.
The victim found out about the $423.80 flight later, when the American Express credit card bill came in.
Oh, and there was another $35 charge on the card that also victimized the Darien resident. The charges occurred on Feb. 3.
The cardholder reported the ID theft to police on March 5.
