Man Charged With Passing Fake Scripts at Grieb's Pharmacy

The suspect was allegedly able to obtain oxycodone using a doctor's pad.

A Stamford man who police say had a physician’s prescription pad has been charged with forging scripts for oxycodone at pharmacies in Darien and Greenwich.

According to Greenwich Police, Jamie Longo, 24, of Stamford was arrested Thursday on two counts each of possession of narcotics, prescription forgery/alteration, and second degree forgery — all felonies.

Longo was initially arrested Feb. 7 after he tried to use a forged prescription to obtain oxycodone at a CVS (90 Greenwich Ave.), according to Greenwich Police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray.

Further investigation led police to (1021 Post Rd.). Police charge that Longo used a forged script there to obtain the powerful narcotic around the same time as the CVS incident.

Using surveillance videotapes, police determined that Longo “had been there previously with a fraudelant script pad. It was confirmed that the doctor (whose name was on the forms) was not involved and that he [Longo] was not a patient,” Gray said.
