New Canaan Wife Who Allegedly Chased Husband in Tesla Charged with Threatening

The woman who was charged with attempting to strike her husband with a Tesla after he allegedly kicked and punched her during an altercation that turned physical has additionally been charged with making statements threatening her husband's life on Dec. 11, New Canaan police said this week.

According to Sgt. Carol Ogrinc, 28 Raymond Street resident Cheryl Ann Jenkins, 52, who attempted to strike her husband with a Tesla twice after he'd allegedly struck her on Dec. 12, made the threatening statements on Dec. 11. She was charged on Dec. 18 and released on a Promise to Appear with a scheduled court date of Dec. 19.

Ogrinc said the woman was living at the home at that the couple had an Order or Protection against each other.
