An epidemic of burglaries took place for the second time in a month overnight from Sunday to Monday as 17 motor vehicles, a house and a garage were entered.
Occurring two weeks after on Brookside Drive and streets off of it, this most recent set of break-ins occurred on Holly Lane, Edgewood Road, Herman Avenue and Old Parish Road, according to .
"In all cases, there was no forced entry as doors had been left unlocked," police said in a news release.
Not much property was stolen, police said. One stolen credit card was later used in the Bronx.
"No additional information is available at this time," according to the news release.
But they'd like information from you, if you have any: "The Darien Police Department’s Detective Division is conducting the investigation. Persons with information are asked to contact the Detective Division at 203-662-5330."
