A paddle board valued at $1,500 was reported stolen sometime between June 15 and 27 from a back yard next to a beach.
The 12-foot Suptech blue and white paddle board had been stored on a boat rack, together with some small boats in the back yard of a home on Baywater Drive. Immediately behind the back yard is a beach on Noroton Bay.
A paddle board looks something like a surf board or ocean kayak.
