When a Monroe woman saw a bobcat walking through her backyard at around 2:56 p.m. on Dec. 3, she grabbed her camera and snapped some photos (See the pictures with this story.).
Animal Control Officer Ed Risko said the bobcat displayed routine activity and the homeowner, who lives on Maple Terrace in Monroe, was provided with common cautions for bobcats.
In an earlier incident on Nov. 22, a Shelton man reported seeing large bobcat crossing Monroe Turnpike.
