The father's injury didn't need medical attention, but the son was taken by Darien EMS-Post 53 to Stamford Hospital "due to health concerns," according to the news release.
Police applied for and received a warrant for the son's arrest on charges of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. The son was arrested on Friday and remained in police custody over the weekend in lieu of posting $1,000 bond. He was scheduled to appear Tuesday in state Superior Court in Stamford.
