A 22-year-old woman was caught with less than half an ounce of marijuana after she was pulled over on the Post Road in Saturday, police said.

The woman, a resident of Puritan Lane in Stamford, was driving a blue Chevrolet Cobalt eastbound on the Post Road near Its intersection with Old Kings Highway North at 2:26 a.m. When a police officer saw her car's left headlight was out.
On stopping the car and speaking with the driver, the officer smelled marijuana smoke.
A search of the vehicle turned up a small amount of what appeared to be previously smoked marijuana cigarettes which testes positive for marijuana in a field test.
The driver was issued an infraction ticket for the headlight and the pot.
