Students Warned Against Dangerous Road Habits at DHS Safety Fair [Video]

The Darien Police Department and other organizations sponsored the "Students Against Destructive Decisions" (S.A.D.D.) Safety Fair Tuesday in the school's courtyard.

On Tuesday, Darien High School played host to the “Students Against Destructive Decisions” (S.A.D.D.) Safety Fair, designed to raise awareness about safe road habits.

Exhibits and at the fair warned about the dangers of intoxicated driving, texting behind the wheel, and riding without a seatbelt.

The event was sponsored by the Darien Police Department Youth Division, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Connecticut State Police, S.A.D.D., Safe Rides, and other organizations.
