Two Stamford Drivers Arrested on DWI Charges
Two Stamford motorists were arrested in separate incidents early Saturday morning.
Two Stamford motorists were arrested in separate incidents early Saturday morning and charged with DWI and failure to drive right, Darien police reported Monday.
Matthew Czaplicki, 29, was stopped on Hoyt Street at 1:30 a.m. after police observed his 2009 Infiniti FX-35 crossing over the double yellow lines. He failed a field sobriety test.
A search of Czaplicki’s vehicle led to the discovery of a glass container with 10 hydrocodone and suboxone pills. He was also charged with possession of narcotics.

Czaplicki was released on $260 bond and given a court date of Feb. 2.
Andriy Dvornyak, 25, also of Stamford, was pulled over on the Post Road near Leroy Avenue at 2:42 a.m. after he was observed driving a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant erratically. He also failed a field sobriety test.

Dvornyak was released on $250 bond and assigned a Feb. 2 court date.
