Despite a number of noisy false alarms, it was relatively quiet weekend for all three volunteer fire departments.
Darien residents reported four false fire alarms. The Noroton Heights Fire Department responded to Holmes School when workmen accidentally set off the alarm. Three household carbon monoxide alarms were also reported, but all were false.
