Absentee Ballots Still Available for Election

The Town Clerk's Office issued the following news release (attached to this article) about getting an absentee ballot.

Town Clerk Donna Rajczewski reminds Darien’s voters that absentee ballots for the November 6, 2012 election are still available.  Absentee voting is permitted for any of the following reasons:  physical disability, illness, absence from the town during all of the hours of voting, or religious tenets which forbid secular activity on Election Day.

A signed application must be received by the Town Clerk before an absentee ballot can be issued.  Applications are available in the Town Clerk's Office Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or you may call (203) 656-7307.  They are also available through the Town’s website and the Secretary of the State’s website.

The Town Clerk’s Office will be open on Saturday, November 3, 2012 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 12 noon for absentee balloting.
