Darien and New Canaan Democratic Town Committees Invite Supporters to Watch President Obama Live
The Darien and New Canaan DTC's are happy to announce a free viewing party for President Obama's acceptance speech from the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC. This Thursday, September 6th, supporters are invited from 8p.m. until 11p.m to the Upper Crust Bakery & Cafe located at 980 Post Road in Darien. There is no charge to attend the event and it is not a fundraiser. All local supporters are welcome to join DTC members to watch the President on the final night of the convention. Upper Crust has graciously agreed to host the event and will be offering its evening menu of appetizers, soups, salads and sandwiches, as well as beer, wine and soft drinks.
