The South Western Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (SWRMPO), a regional transportation planning agency affiliated with SWRPA, will meet on Jan. 26 to discuss transportation policy, programs and projects that concern the South Western Region. This meeting agenda includes the following action items:
- MPO approval of the update of the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to FFY 2012-2015, following the opportunity for public comment, and review of air quality conformity;
- MPO endorsement for the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) projects and priorities (CMAQ applications from Greenwich, Norwalk and Stamford were received); and
- MPO approval for the South Western Region candidate projects and priorities for the Transportation Enhancement Program funding.
