Poll: Hemorrhoids, Fungus, Dog Poop More Popular than Congress

Americans have a higher opinion of witches (46 percent to 32 percent), jury duty (73 percent versus 18 percent) and hemorrhoids (53 percent to 31 percent) than Congress.

What are some things more popular than Congress right now?  

Hemorrhoids, toenail fungus and dog poop among other items, according to Public Policy Polling released Tuesday.

The North Carolina-based polling institute surveyed 502 registered voters between October 4-6 on their opinions on how Congress is doing. The survey found that of the registered voters polled, 85 percent disapprove of Congress.

That won't surprise Virginians, especially the tens of thousands who have been furloughed.

The poll found that Americans have a higher opinion of witches (46 percent to 32 percent), jury duty (73 percent versus 18 percent) and hemorrhoids (53 percent to 31 percent) than Congress.

Those polled, however, do think more highly of Congress than Miley Cyrus (46 percent to 31 percent).
