Himes, who lives in and frequently contributes to Patch, was reportedly once a model for Polo Ralph Lauren.
According to a report in The Hill, one day while he was attending college in Boston, Himes was spotted by famous fashion photographer Bruce Weber at a boathouse on the Charles River. Soon thereafter he was the subject of a modeling photo shoot on Martha’s Vineyard, according to the report.

Himes, who keeps in shape rowing, swimming and running, reportedly made extra cash while attending Harvard modeling for catalogs for American clothiers.
As such The Hill recently named the 46-year-old congressman, who is seeking his third term this November, to its "50 Most Beautiful People" list.
