Update 4:22 p.m.:
Attached are documents related to two of the presentations tonight: One on recycling and the other from the Connecticut Rail Commuter Council.
The Representative Town Meeting will sit tonight in the Town Hall Auditorium to hear several reports, although a scheduled vote on an inter-town agreement for mutual police services with Greenwich has been canceled.
These matters will come up at the meeting, according to its agenda:
- Report from the RTM Education Committee on the Board of Education
- Report from the Transfer Station Advisory Committee
- Update on new trains by Jim Cameron. Cameron has been a member of the RTM and is also chairman of the Connecticut Commuter Council, which acts as a state ombudsman for commuters.
Although it isn't announced directly the way other non-budget meetings are announced, the Board of Selectmen will hold a special budget presentation at 7:45 p.m. tonight in Room 206 in Town Hall.
