Town Administrator's Budget Presentation

Here is a copy of Town Administrator Karl Kilduff's Power Point presentation on his proposed 2013-2014 town budget as given Monday evening before the Board of Selectmen. Spending would go up 7.14 percent, taxes by 7.1 percent.

Darien Patch will have a more detailed article on Town Administrator Karl Kilduff's budget on Tuesday morning.

"At this stage of the budget development process, a mill rate of 13.58 (or an increase of 0.90 mills) would be needed to support proposed expenditures," Kilduff wrote in the presentation give Monday to a special meeting of the Board of Selectmen.

That works out to a tax increase of 7.1 percent.
