Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, a leading residential real estate brokerage company in Connecticut and Westchester County, NY, announced Wednesday that it has acquired the assets of Greenwich Fine Properties LLC.
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is part of NRT LLC, the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerage company. And Greenwich Fine Properties, an independent, locally-owned real estate boutique was founded by managing partner Douglas Stevens, who will join Coldwell Banker as a sales associate.
The Greenwich Fine Properties office, located at 191 Mason St. in Greenwich, will merge into the existing Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office located at 177 W. Putnam Ave. in Greenwich. Thirty Greenwich Fine Properties sales associates will join Coldwell Banker, according to a statement released by Coldwell Banker.

The certified Previews® Property Specialists comprise approximately 10 percent of the more than 82,000 Coldwell Banker sales associates worldwide. Nationwide, more than 16,400 transaction sides of homes priced at $1 million or more were sold using the Coldwell Banker Previews International® marketing program in 2012. On average, Previews Property Specialists handle $86.1 million in luxury homes sales every day.
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage operates nearly 51 offices with more than 2,100 sales associates in Connecticut and Westchester County.
The announcement of the merger is the second time in two months that there was a major shakeup in the Greenwich real estate world. In early September, 18 top real estate agents in Greenwich jumped their respective agencies and joined longtime New York-based real estate company Houlihan Lawrence which broke into the Connecticut market by establishing an office in Greenwich.
