Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Announces Names of Restaurants in Its November 4-17, 2013 Program

A listing of the restaurants taking part in Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, November 4-17, 2013, is available on the program's website. (This event despite its name actually runs for two weeks.)

The cost to dine remains the same as for the spring 2013 program: $29.95 per person for a three-course dinner (appetizer, main course, dessert) and $20.95 per guest for a three-course lunch. Beverages from coffee to cocktails, tax and gratuity are additional.

New participants in the program include Bocuse Restaurant, the French restaurant at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, Duo Bistro, a neighborhood eatery in Kingston, and Purdy’s Farmer and the Fish, a farm-to-table establishment in North Salem.

Bear Mountain Inn's Restaurant 1915 and the Blue Roof Tapas Bar joins for its first time. Another newcomer is Mexicali Blue, a contemporary Mexican restaurant in Wappingers Falls.

At all restaurants, diners can opt to order from the regular menu instead of the prix-fixe HVRW menu.

Restaurants from the following New York State counties are represented: Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster and Columbia. Connecticut restaurants are also invited to take part.

The program is conducted by The Valley Table, a food and culinary magazine headquartered in Newburgh, NY.
