Darien TV79 Airs Special on Award-Winning Student Productions

You can watch talented TV student-producers from Fairfield County schools on TV79

Darien’s Town Government Television station, TV79, will be airing a special program featuring the winners of the eighth annual “Educational Access Awards” competition.

Sponsored by the Area Nine Cable Council, the awards honor the best in television production by area elementary, middle and high school students.

There are some amazingly talented kids learning about TV production in our schools.

None of the winning entries came from Darien schools.

The two-hour program of the winning entries will air starting Friday Aug. 17, and will air at various times each day for a week. Check the TV79 website for exact dates and times.
