Book Discussion of “Countdown” (A One Book, One Community Event)

On Friday, April 15 at 11 a.m., Darien Library will present a book discussion of “Countdown” by Deborah Wiles. “Countdown” is the selected book for the Library’s third annual One Book, One Community town-wide read. One Book, One Community encourages everyone in town to read the same book and then come together to explore its themes.

Library staff members will lead the discussion. Listen and share your thoughts about this critically-acclaimed documentary novel set in October 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The Library has copies of the books available for patrons to borrow, but prior reading of the book is not necessary to attend the discussion.
