Caregiver Educational Support Group

will hold its monthly Caregiver Educational Support Group 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18.

If you are caring for a family member or friend with multiple needs, especially related to cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s type dementia, this  group would be very beneficial. The topic this month is “Taking Mini Vacations” and is led by Senior Center Coordinator Beth Paris, who has been a support group facilitator for the past 15 years and a guest instructor for the Caregiver Training Programs that the Alzheimer’s Association runs.

This group is run in affiliation with the Southwestern Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Each month a different caring giving topic is presented and discussed and there is time for group members to ask questions, share individual concerns and ideas.
