College Info Night Helps Parents and Teens

To address the college admissions process - from college selection, to essays and resumes, to college visit planning and interview strategies - The Depot is hosting a free college information night, sponsored by Chyten Educational Services, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., Thursday, March 4, at The Depot.

Chyten's college counselor will be on hand to answer questions and provide insights into the process.  Topics to be discussed include:

  • Creating the perfect college list
  • Managing college visits
  • Standardized tests:  SAT vs. ACT?
  • Making the interview work
  • The application process
  • Essay strategies
  • Early decision/Early action
