'Getting Organized' Lecture Series at DCA

Your New Year’s resolutions to get organized may have faded in recent weeks, but the Darien Community Association and Aging In Place can get you back on track with a co-sponsored new lecture series at the DCA entitled, “Getting Organized: A Multi-Generational Approach to Getting Your Life in Order.” The series is free and open to all.

Topics include Organizing Your Financial Documents Thursday, March 4; Getting a Handle on Your Medical Coverage Thursday, March 11; and Making Smart Financial Decisions Thursday, March 25. All lectures begin at 9:30 a.m. Reservations are requested and refreshments will be served.

First in the series is guest speaker Richard Terhune of New York Life, who will address organizing financial documents and help to identify and organize important financial and personal documents through “LifeFolio,” a table of contents to your financial life. LifeFolio includes four brochures explaining what and how to organize, a sample letter to an executor/executrix, plus 24 file dividers to help you and your family organize your important paperwork.
