We're not talking about nebulous "likes" on Facebook, but real people and solid entities that support your company and its mission. Sea Glass Communications hasn't even been open for a year yet, but we are continually surprised and touched by the verbal and actual help we get from our local and national colleagues. There are many national media outlets who have regularly run stories on our local clients and seem open to doing more with us in the future. There are people right here in Darien who are constantly referring new clients to us. Take Lisa Phillips Hingst, for example. Lisa is a long-time sales pro at Moffly Media. We ran into her at a big event last week and she followed up this week by connecting us with another local business that needs Public Relations help. Thanks, Lisa. And we have to mention Janine Vairo, from PartyStyleBox.com, who just sent us a homemade Sea Glass candy recipe, and encouraged us to make some for our clients. Janine has also sent us a link to a wine company called Sea Glass. We think Janine wants to plan our First Year Anniversary party in a few months. Sounds good to us! Cheers to our business friends.
