What's your path to success?

SGC's president has been having fascinating parking lot chats with other moms in Darien this month. Topics: missing the low-key family dinners of summer, pairing down kids' schedules, choosing the right volunteer gigs. On that last topic, one mom said she chose a position as Assistant Treasurer at her school's PTO to sharpen her financial chops. She has a background in it, and four children later, her connections were not kept current, but her kids are happy and thriving. SGC thought it was brilliant for her to give back to the community AND herself. She is an obviously smart and capable woman. She has so much to offer. We bet she'd be quite successful when she is ready to decide how to next spend her business energy. Every one has their own journey and there are so many different paths to take to success. That's what makes it fun and interesting, and colorful like a jar of sea glass.
