Want to start 2013 off in the perfect way? Want to make it the year you finally get organized? Join us starting tomorrow.

The New Year is upon us, and tomorrow The Seana Method, in cooperation with Darien Patch, will be kicking off GO! (Get Organized!) Month. During the month of January, we will be posting a project for you to work on each workday (Monday- Friday) of the month. Check Darien Patch each morning and look for us in the Local Voices section of the page. You can do them all, or pick and choose the ones you are most interested in. Each project is designed to take between 30-45 minutes, but if you can’t finish in that time, don’t feel badly. You can always “make up” a project over the weekend. In order to succeed, do the following today:

  1. Block off ½ hour on your calendar each workday to be the time you will tackle the challenge.
  2. Gather some empty boxes or bags. Label them with labels that say
    1. Elsewhere
    2. Donate
    3. Dispose
    4. Store
    5. Have a trash can that you will be using for this project.

If you join this challenge, by the time February arrives, you will have taken a huge step toward getting organized! Feel free to post photos of your progress, or to post comments on how the process is going. You can also send questions to the The Seana Method with any particular challenges you are having.

There is no better way to kick off the New Year than by taking responsibility for your time, space and belongings. We hope you enjoy this special month!
