The Darien High School boys lacrosse team rolled to another easy win Tuesday night, as Brian Gleason recorded five goals and three assists in a 17-3 drubbing of Norwalk.
Case Matheis notched two goals and four assists for the Blue Wave, who coasted to an 11-0 halftime lead, allowing coach Jeff Brameier to substitute liberally in the second half.
Graham Maybell and Richard Gregory chipped in with two goals apiece for Darien, which remained unbeaten in the FCIAC.
Henry West, Alden Frelinghuysen, JP Walsh, Robbie Winter, Ben Preston, and Brendan Hathaway tallied the other goals for the Blue Wave (12-2, 10-0).
Darien goaltender Andrew West needed to make just five saves, keeping the Bears to three goals.
Darien has two regular-season games remaining: one at St. Joseph on Thursday and one at home against Greenwich on May 19.
The Blue Wave needs to win only one of the two to clinch the top seed for the FCIAC playoffs, which begin on May 22.
