Metro-North Rides The Giants Celebration

Metro-North is providing extra cars for those going to celebrate Giants victory.

Go Big Blue! Go Metro-North! The New York Giants will celebrate their Super Bowl victory in style as they parade down the Canyon of Heroes on Tuesday morning. Metro-North wants to make it more convenient for fans of Big Blue to get to lower Manhattan for the 11 a.m. event.

has announced it will have extra cars on select trains to accommodate fans going to the celebration that may attract as many as one million fans who are reveling in the Giants win over the New England Patriots on Sunday.

  • 8:47 a.m. express from New Haven, stopping at Milford, Stratford, Bridgeport, Stamford, Harlem-125th St, and arriving at Grand Central Terminal at 10:20 AM.

Extra New Haven Line trains leaving the parade (PM—outbound)

  • 3:23 p.m. express from Grand Central Terminal, stopping at Stamford, Westport, Fairfield, Fairfield Metro, Bridgeport, Stratford, Milford, & New Haven.
