Auditors' Required Reading

For the new audit firm that will be performing the forensic audit and for McCladry,the audit firm that has been auditing Darien in prior years, I commend pages 67 through 69 of the Gamm Executive Summary for your reading. These pages are eye opening not that the rest of the report isn't. These problems must go back years. The problems may have gone over the top last school year but they must have existed in some form before 2012-2013. Basically, the special education efforts in Darien did not follow the law. I am not an attorney but you have to wonder if there were violations of criminal law.
