Hypothetical Questions?

Isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery? Could the hypothetical be real? Has anyone read Dante's Inferno? Wouldn't it be the right thing for the patient to just admit that getting highly trained paramedics to a patient as quickly as possible instead of using Darien's convoluted EMS system be best for the patient? Does anyone really believe that me funding a Darien based paramedic unit is the answer? Does anyone believe I am going to move? Why does anyone argue that paramedics getting to a patient ASAP with EMTs isn't better than paramedics getting there after EMTs arrive? Shouldn't we consider that paramedics from Stamford or Norwalk can be and often are delayed? Isn't having paramedics present during BLS better and more efficient than having paramedics respond afterwards especially if paramedics can be delayed? If someone knew of my visit to the Glenbrook, not Springdale, paramedic station, then wouldn't that person most likely be a Postie? If someone knew of the visit by me and my wife to the Glenbrook station, shouldn't they also know of the cordial reception afforded us by the two paramedics on duty? Why is it so hard to believe that I spoke to other paramedics? Is it so hard to believe that paramedics might think that Darien doesn't want them based in Darien for financial and other reasons? I thought patients could choose the hospital they wanted to be taken to? If a diabetic is in shock or in a coma, would oral medication be effective or would paramedics have to administer medication intravenously? Stay tuned. Walter Casey.
