Inexperienced and Terrified

On 11/5/12, Sue Maguire, an EMSRC member, sent an email to Ron Hammer, Post 53 Director: "Thanks. I was wondering what month the 9th graders generally start riding.....As they get more experience they are more confident in their skills......Like you never want to have surgery in July. The new med school grads have just started their internships. They are inexperienced and terrified." In an earlier email, Hammer had explained the system of Post's adult supervision. While there is adult supervision, you have to wonder about how much adult attention is directed to supervising the kids instead of caring for patients. Stay tuned. Walter Casey.
