Spend Part of Labor Day Weekend with a Knight

The New York Renaissance Festival continues with shows, activities, music, food and merchants until Sept. 23.

This 35th anniversary season of the New York Renaissance Faire in Sterling Forest continues this Labor Day weekend and runs through Sept. 23.

The Faire, located in Tuxedo off Route 17, creates an Elizabethan English village, where costumed performers immerse themselves into their roles as knights and maidens.

Besides lots of food and drink, the Faire features jousting tournaments, acrobatics, magicians, jugglers, swashbuckling pirates, a Living Chess Match and special shows.
