Let me start by saying I have never posted a review positive or negative about a company. My experience with Swimm Pools has been the completely opposite. I first saw these posts last week and was surprised. I then went out to dinner with several friends and brought up the subject of Swimm and online reviews and similar to me none of them had anything but positive things to say and going as far as saying they are probably the best service companies they had worked with. I have been a Swimm customer for over 10 years and they also renovated my pool. They did a beautiful job and the service was outstanding. Mark Swimm "the owner" worked with me on renovating my pool and again he treated with with complete respect and care. All of my experiences with Mark and his crew have been positive over many years now.
My most recent experience was the Friday before Memorial day. I went out to turn on the heater and sure enough it wouldnt start. I knew I was on borrowed time with it and had just been putting off another expense. I called the office at 12 on Friday and said my heater wouldnt start and I had a house full of people for the holiday weekend and my daughters birthday. The woman I spoke with in the office was very nice and said she would do her best to have someone come by. I waited with fingers crossed and at about 3pm a technician showed up. I was thrilled. Unfortunately he said the heater was dead and there was nothing he could do. That took the wind out of my sail as everyone was looking for to a pool weekend. I again called the office knowing it was a longshot and asked if there was any chance they could install a new heater. At about 5 pm Mark Swimm called me personally and said he had one in stock and he would do his best to get it done but wouldn't promise anything. I understood and that night went to bed resolved that we would not have a useable pool that weekend. The next morning I went out to Starbucks and upon my return saw a Swimm truck in my driveway and was thrilled. They installed the heater and saved the weekend.

The reason I am writing this post is because at the dinner with friends this past weekend we all agreed that the world we are living in is one where people dont ever give positive reviews but feel its ok to only give negative reviews.
I would say this If you are looking to have Swimm or any service providers work for you talk to your friends and neighbors. Swimm services hundreds of pools in town and Ive only ever heard positive feedback. Its a shame that a few upset customers. (I am not invalidating there experience but I also recognixe there are 2 sides to every story) would be the reference point for people. Again people typically do not write positive reviews.
My suggestion, is talk to your friends and neighbors and then make an educated decision. This is a very demanding town and you cant please all the people all the time. I give Swimm Pools 5 stars personally
