Convent of Saint Birgitta at Vikingsborg

<p>The Convent of the Sisters of St. Birgitta is the Darien representative of a <a href="http://www.brigidine.org/Brigidine/5/209/HOME+PAGE.html">Roman Catholic order</a> that originated in Sweden in 1911.</p> <p>Vikingsborg is a beautiful guest house and chapel that overlooks the Long Island Sound in Tokeneke, where the sisters practice a ministry of welcome and hospitality to people of all faiths. Individuals and small groups will find simple guest rooms, a conference room and a meeting room—perfect for reflection and rejuvenation. The sisters also offer regular Roman Catholic worship services throughout the week in the chapel, available to guests and local residents alike.</p>
