100% Were impressed
The Darien Diner opened in November 2008 in the building once inhabited by the Driftwood Diner, says owner Olga Giapoutzis. Giapoutzis filled the diner with '50s nostalgia, Norman Rockwell paintings, pictures of Elvis and old Coca-Cola ads. "We made it look like a diner," she said.
