Talmadge Hill Community Church

The Talmadge Hill Community Church was founded in 1870, and some of its members are now four generations deep.<br /><br />Music is a unique feature of the Church. Not only does the Sunday service include hymns but also original compositions by the music director. There's a grand piano in the modest sanctuary in place of an organ.<br /><br />Sunday school at Talmadge Hill is based on the teachings of the first Italian woman physician Maria Montessori, a pioneer in spiritual education. The church emphasizes missionary programs and participates in a variety of both local and overseas projects. One quarter of the church's revenue benefits these pursuits.
